Your skin will be cleansed and prepped, and a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort. The Ultra handpiece glides across the skin, creating gentle microchannels. Most clients describe the sensation as a warm, tingling feeling that is very tolerable.
Post-Treatment Instructions and Expectations
Immediately after, your skin may look pink or slightly sunburned. This usually subsides within a day or two. For the following 5–6 days, you may notice a dry or “sandpaper-like” texture as your skin naturally exfoliates. It’s important to follow aftercare instructions provided by your provider, including using gentle cleansers, staying well-hydrated, and applying sunscreen daily. Makeup may often be applied sooner with guidance.
