How Does It Work?
The laser delivers pulses of light energy which causes the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel, which is then reabsorbed by your body. After the treatment, an improvement is apparent immediately. Redness and some mild swelling may occur after the treatment but typically lasts 12-24 hours.
Unlike sclerotherapy, there are no needles when treating veins with laser, only a mild prickly sensation. To ensure client comfort, we use a clear gel and cold air during the treatment and cool gel packs afterwards. The number of treatments depends on the size, colour and quantity of the veins being treated but on average, one to three sessions are required.

What can be treated?
We can successfully treat spider veins, broken capillaries and cherry angiomas on the face and body.
Do you treat Varicose veins?
We do not offer Varicose vein removal. Our laser will treat smaller spider veins that are smooth to the touch.
Do the treatments hurt?
Treatment is very tolerable, however some tingling and snapping sensations are to be expected.
What kind of results can I expect?
Most patients will see immediate improvement post treatment followed by continuous improvement over the next week or so. There will be some mild swelling in the area immediately after the treatment which resides quicky. Some mild bruising may occur.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments will depend on the severity of the area being treated and the client’s desired result. One to four sessions are recommended.
