Arrival Time and Client Intake Forms
Your appointment time has been set aside especially for you. Please ensure you arrive on time, or even early; new clients will be required to fill out a confidential Client Intake Form that can take up to 15 minutes. No service will start until you have fully completed your intake form or any consents. You must include any medications or allergies, to ensure there are no contraindications to your treatment. If you are late, your experience may be altered or your service adjusted to fit the available time, in consideration of the next client. If you are up to 15 minutes past your treatment time, your provider may make the decision to mark you as a “no show” where you will be responsible for 100% of the service charge.
Laser Hair Removal
Prior to any Laser Hair Removal treatments, please shave the area to be treated the morning of your appointment, or the evening before if you tend to get irritation from shaving. If you have a specific area for a spot treatment or your hair is very fine, only trim the hair so we can easily see it and treat it directly. If you are unable to shave the area, please inform reception when booking, as your treatment time may need to be adjusted to accommodate the extra time. Excessive shaving is an additional charge of $20.
We ask cell phones and other electronics be set to silent or powered down. This ensures no electronic interruption or distraction for you as well as others. Quiet conversation is acceptable in most areas of the spa unless otherwise indicated.
Minimum Age Requirements
North Okanagan Skin and Laser welcomes those who are 18 years of age and over, and teens 12 to 17 years of age when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Health information is required by law from all guests regardless of age. A parent must provide written permission for any treatments prior to the service.
Due to the nature of our clinic, children are not permitted to be in attendance during treatments. Please arrange care prior to your booking.
All treatments you select are reserved especially for you and secured with your credit card. If you cannot make your appointment, in respect to other guests and our staff, we require a 24 hour notice. Appointments that are rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the treatment cost. No shows are subject to full charge. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
We apply a 10% administration fee on any deposit or return requiring a refund.
Services purchased as a package and cancelled before complete, will be credited to your account at a pro-rated amount based on individual pricing. We do not offer refunds on services already completed and apply credit to your account for unused, prepaid packages. Packages have a 1 year expiry from date of purchase.
We make every effort to recommend the correct skin care for you. Only skin care products that are unopened, unused and with original receipt are accepted for exchange or in-store credit. Our custom-made skin care and Glo Minerals makeup are non refundable. You are able to try a sample of most products prior to purchasing and be colour matched with the correct makeup to ensure you are happy with it and have no allergies to it.
Gratuities are appreciated, at your discretion.
