Laser Tattoo Removal

You Don’t Have to Live with Regret

Say Bye-Bye to Your Unwanted Tattoos

The PicoSure Pro laser uses “pigment-seeking technology” to locate ink. The device converts laser light energy into short, controlled pulses of pressure that break down excess tattoo pigment into more easily absorbed particles, which are then carried away by the body’s lymphatic system. These bursts of laser energy take just a picosecond (one trillionth of a second), hence its name. These quick bursts reduce the risk of burns, so it’s suitable for all skin types.

Frequently Asked Questions

PicoSure Pro takes multiple sessions to achieve optimal results. The exact number will vary depending on tattoo size, density of the pigment and the age of the tattoo. The laser technician will be able to give you an estimate on how many sessions will be required. The treatment plan will include sessions spaced six to eight weeks apart, allowing the skin time to heal between sessions.

Although PicoSure Pro is more effective than previous tattoo removal technology it is recommended that patients expect significant fading and not full removal.

Like any tattoo removal process some discomfort is to be expected and will vary on the size and pigmentation level of the tattoo. We use cool air and cold gel packs to keep the skin cool and comfortable during each session.

You won’t need to take any recovery time after tattoo removal; however, the treated area will likely be tender for a couple of days.

Take 24hrs before soaking or bathing. Avoid hot tubs and swimming pools until the treated areas are completely healed.

After three to five days of ointment and dressing the area can be left open to the air but sunscreen must be applied to the area to prevent damage and scaring.

Blisters and scabs can form. Do not pick!
